Making their World Premiere season in Australia, LES BALLETS ELOELLE are bringing their new production “Men In Pink Tights” – the most spectacular, talented and hilarious all-male comedy ballet ever.

From the thrilling pirouettes of the male dancers (in male and female costumes) with brilliant choreography to the side splitting humour, LES BALLETS ELOELLE new show “Men In Pink Tights” is a show designed for the young and old. The greatest troupe of it is kind around the globe; Les Ballet Ballet’s Elolle features over fifty ballets in its repertoire and an array of the best international professional male ballet dancers from thirteen nations.

These fine-looking and gorgeous soloists have executed with celebrated ballet company’s including New York Ballet, The American Ballet Theatre, the prestigious Royal Ballet, Paris Opera Ballet, The National Ballet of Canada, The Royal Swedish Ballet, Berlin State Opera Ballet, English National Ballet, Joffrey Ballet and Hong Kong Ballet.

The New York-based Company is led by creative Director and lead dancer Victor Trevino, who was artistic Director and Lead Dancer in 2007 with the hugely successful Australian and New Zealand tour of “Men in Tutu’s“.

Les Ballet’s Elolle “Men In Pink Tights” personifies the elemental parody of both classic and present-day ballet. The combining of magnificent dance proficiency, bantering and clamorous wittiness with designed mannerisms, dance misadventures and naturally outrageous hissy fits by gentlemen role playing both masculine and feminine personas (just about all of the gentlemen act, and in reality appear like beautiful ladies, although others are furry chested adult males with flapcake make-up but all stylish in tights and tutus. and dancing on perfect Pointe.

“Men in Pink Tights” Produces bang-up amusement and LOL “Lough Out Loud” family entertainment for all. Be truly amazed.

“Artistically brilliant, absolutely hilarious”. – New York Post

“Brilliant, Brilliant, Brilliant”. – New York Daily Times

Fresh from “The Comedy Hour Comedy Camp II” and The Melbourne Comedy Raw Competition, the all LOCAL Show includes a whole bunch of new and experienced Kalgoorlie Comics who have been preparing themselves for this show since our successful sell out “The Comedy Hour Christmas Show”. This is the best beach party within 500km .

With the Beach themed show being the launch of a year full of local, national and international comedians
“This will be the biggest year of comedy Kalgoorlie has ever seen and “The Comedy Hour” is proud to launch it with the beach theme show” – JT Taylor founder of “The Comedy Hour” said.

“The Comedy Hour Beach Party” all local show is the event not to be missed in February. So make sure you get down to 151 Hannan on Friday 10 and Saturday 11 February. Doors open at 6:30pm, live music by the very talented PAUL VEDANT starting at 7pm and then comedy at 8pm.
Paul Vedant will play after the show as the party kicks on till 12.

Battle of the Best is a competitive sports challenge where every week participants face new sports with new competitions

Battle of the Best is a competitive sports challenge where every week participants face new sports with new competitions. This challenge will test the skills of even the most diverse athletes. Endurance, strength, reactions, teamwork, coordination and balance are just some of the many skills that each person will have to show in order to be the best. It’s not just for the quickest person or the strongest, it’s for everyone. There will be both individual and team challenges throughout the competition, so while some people might not do well on their own, they might shine in the team challenges. Anyone can win.

Each week, a player voted best by their peers and leaders, receives points that will get tallied up and saved. The player with the most points at the end of the program will win a prize. Every player that turns up automatically gets a point on their tally each session. Than 1st,2nd and 3rd get points for the best performers or if it is a team challenge, the team divides the points between them. So it could be the best player overall that wins, or it could be the most consistent.

The age group is 12-24. But if you’re younger don’t be scared to step up to the challenge because it’s not always the person that wins, it’s the person that puts the most effort in.

Battle of the Best is held at the EGYMCA on the holidays at 12pm-3pm on Tuesdays, 6pm-8.30pm on Thursdays and 5pm-8pm on Saturdays. During the school term it will be held on Thursdays at 6pm-8.30pm and Saturdays at 5pm-8pm. This program is completely free so all you have to worry about is bringing yourself and maybe a friend, and you’re ready to go.
